Air Caster - Load Module Applications


LD36H Load Modules

160,000 Pound Furnace used for preheating large Nickel Base alloy billets in a drawing application. 6 each LD36H load modules used to move furnaces back and forth to take them offline for service. Furnace was built with side pockets for module insertion without requiring jacking or raising the furnace. Infloor guides allow the furnace to track a staright line when moving.


CC84  Control Console

CC84 Control Console used on load module systems 21H and larger capacity. Control Console has four or six regulators with gages, a system pressure gage, and an on/off ball valve.


CC64 Control Console

CC64 Control Console used on load module systems 21S and lower capacity. Control Console has four or six regulators with gages, a system pressure gage, and an on/off ball valve.


Mobile steel modules (4ST36SL)

Mobile steel modules (4ST36SL) move 50,000# Control Environment Vault through the assembly process for supplier to Regional Phone companies. CEV vaults on average are 10 feet wide x 30 feet long and 40,000 pounds. The 4ST36NL system consist of 1 master module with onboard control console and 3 additional slave modules. Each has 25,000 pounds capacity for a total system capacity of 100,000.

Mobile Steel Module with 25,000 pound capacity. Module sixe is 37 inches wide x 53 inches long and 8 inches tall. Unit is equipped with a 36S 25,000 pound capacity element and four spring loaded no load wheels for easily moving unit unloaded. When load is placed on top of the unit the spring loaded wheels collapse allowing the load to rest on UHMW landing pads. Once the 36S casters are inflated the load is picked up off the landing pads and wheels and freely floats on the air casters. The units can also be rolled beneath a load placed on blocks or dunnage with 1/4" insertion clearance and once the casters are inflated again the load can be effortlessly moved on air.
