Air Casters

The Air Caster is a unique product that offers many benefits for Heavy Load Moving including a rapid return on investment (ROI), increased productivity, flexibility in lean manufacturing setups, reduced worker compensation claims, and improved operator environment to industrial corporations of any size or type especially in light of today’s competitive environment. The Air Caster is ideal for Machinery Moving such as stamping presses, injection mold machines, CNC machine tools, welded fabrications, vibration sensitive electronic equipment and even large seating sections found in theatres or convention centers. This is just a small sample of typical applications. However, to serve such a broad market requires various Air Caster configurations as shown below. If you have any questions or need additional information please call us at 800-323-0571, email info@aeriscorporation.com or fill out a request form for Air Caster Information.

Air Caster - Load Module Systems:
Load Module Systems are Rigging Kits designed for moving various types and sizes of machines and/or structures. These easily transportable systems can be set up and fully functioning in as little as 10 minutes. The large foot print of the air bearing greatly reduces floor loading, thereby protecting the floor surface and eliminates costly damage to floors.  >> More on Load Modules

Planks

Air Caster - Planks:
Designed for moving fixed width loads (length can vary) and allow for quicker setup as compare to the load module system. Typical applications include moving sensitive electronic machinery and telephone switchgear during the manufacturing process.  >> More on Planks

Pallets

Air Caster - Pallets:
Designed for moving large loads with similar length and width. For example many in-plant applications include moving engine blocks onto coordinate measuring machines for inspection and moving large transformers through the assembly process. Both light weight aluminum extrusion and heavy duty steel pallets are available in various sizes and capacities to match your application.  >> More on Pallets

Die Transporter - Custom

Custom Air Casters Designed For Heavy Load Moving:
In today's environment many companies are looking for air caster solutions to reduce manufacturing throughput time and improve product quality. However, special fixtures, fabrications, drive systems, controls, compressors, air receiver tanks, PD pumps, and regenerative blowers are required to accomplish these goals. Aeris Corporation has a knowledgeable engineering department to deliver full fledge systems (i.e. mechanical, pneumatic and electrical in scope) on time and within budget.

Pneumatic or electric battery driven systems combined with guide wheels are designed to provide finger tip operator control and are available upon request. External drives with quick attached features allow the drive to be used on multiple steel pallets with setup time taking less than 5 minutes. Internal drives are dedicated to one steel pallet however this keeps the entire package compact and highly maneuverable especially in tight areas. Controls combined with our unique drive systems allow for full steering motion including forward-reverse, left to right, oblique, crab, radial and rotation about center as shown in the photo on the left. Powered driven systems make Heavy Load Moving easy, safe and gives the operator total control of the move.

If you have additional questions, an application or want to know more about the above items or other available systems please call us at 800 332-3787, email us at info@aeriscorporation.com or request information. Call us for your next project.
